when love & faith collide

Sighh...

Honestly, I am not in the mood to address this issue but it is imperative that I do so because right now, I feel extremely unsettled. That nagging feeling(conviction of the Holy Spirit perhaps?) in me just won't go away! Arrgghh!

What's up, you ask?

Nothing.

It is all downhill from here.

And it is my undoing...

I've been seeing someone for the past month. Well, sort of. We're not exactly in a relationship so technically, there is no 'we'. Reason being that there are crucial matters I have to give very serious thought to, one of which(the most pressing one), is his faith.

Sighh...

TO BE CONTINUED (coz I have work tmrw afterwards)

*I believe that everything happens for a reason whether or not we intentionally or unintentionally disobey God. There are always lessons to learn and faith to test albeit the suffering we encounter. God will, in all His grace and mercies, receive us when we come before Him clothed in humility and brokenness. This is because He unreservedly exchanges beauty for ashes.

pictures paint words

I know, I know, I ought to be shot for not updating ergo, here are some happy clappy pictures (in chronological order) of what I've been up to for the past one month. Enjoy!

Jeanine's Hen Night

So, here we are, 'pampering' the bride to be. Jean's such a good sport. Suffice to say, all of us had an awesome night. WE LOVE YOU BABE!

'Dressing' Jean up

Ta daa! You like?

Beauty & the beasts(girls from the cell group)

From us to her, with love.

"I'm so gonna get you back for this!"

Jon&Jeanine's wedding favours

The cell group helped wrap and tie apples. White and green, apple green to be exact, was the theme of their wedding. It took a grand total of three days for us to complete our task. Pheewww...

Alena - super gian
Jean - fed up

Pretty apples...

YOU! are the apple of God's eye =D

Not even halfway there.

@ Poppy

The wedding ceremony was held on Saturday morning at DUMC (which I don't have a single picture of) and the dinner on Sunday night, which was brilliant because the newly weds could take their time and relax (a little) instead of the usual 'rush here, rush there'. So, on Saturday night we popped by Poppy to celebrate.

Boys - Kelvin(Jon's bbf from the States), Matt, Jon(the groom) and Yen

Girls - Yoong, Jeanine(the bride), me and Alena

Yen, Kelv and I

The (long awaited) Wedding Dinner

Finally!

(We went to the banquet hall after lunch to set the tables and decorate them with more green apples. I have to say that we still looked pretty decent considering the fact that we didn't stop running about just to make sure that everything was in order.)

Girls just wanna have fun!

Li Ping, Kelv & I

Me, Yoong & Tim

THE four SohPohs
One down, three to go.

After the dinner, we adjourned to RedBox and sang (read:yell) our hearts out. The only picture I have from that night are of Tim & Matt.

=D

Christmas with (mum's side of) the family

If you've been reading me then you know that this is a yearly affair. Oh, it has to be noted that by the time C'mas come around, I was nearly half dead due to the lack of sleep/rest.

On C'mas day, I'd lost my voice. Come dinner time I'd caught a flu and could feel my temperature rising. By the end of the night, it had turned into a full blown fever. I've not fallen sick for such a long time that I didn't know what to do. Stress! My mum (I LOVE YOU!) gave me the wrong meds by mistake =S Hero la she. I was in bed for the next 3 days and spent New Year's Eve and New Year's Day at home, on recovery mode.

Recuperating

Then there was six...

I hope everyone had a Very Blessed New Year! I know I had a blast even though I felt like hell. I pray that your year ahead will be filled with all things beautiful and joy everlasting!

Cheers~~

Oh, I need to give a birthday shout out to my dearest and oldest friend, Miss Tan (she adores blue).

BLESSED 25th BABE!!!

I hope that you'll find fulfilment in all that you do and continue to strive to become the person you want to be. God bless!

*Huggggsssss*
