bored

Summer

'Tis finally here. I wonder whether Newc'll be as quiet as it was during winter break. See lots of people with luggages and such everytime I board the Metro, which is equivalent to M'sia's LRT by the way.

Anyway, NCCF will be conducting it's very first baptism (we're an independent fellowship ie not attached to a church) on the 10th. Yay!! I'm so excited.. *precious cacing's gonna be baptised too. It means a whole lot to those who came to accept Christ here at Newc instead of their home country. I never knew what a significant event it was till I started attending DUMC. Wish I could be baptised again. HEheh. Oh well, at least I get to be confirmed there. Darn! Reminds me, it's about time I transferred my membership. Gah!!

Tra la la ...

Ooh, Zee and I joined a contest by Muller to win a trip to Milan. What's more, you get to bring your friend along if you happened to be soo blessed that is *aHem. HAhaha (fingers crossed =P) Go
join wei. It is however only opened to those residing in the UK. Hah! They even have one where you can win a trip to Cameron Highland's Strawberry Park, for them strawberry lovers of course ;) Whoa, they actually fly you out that far and of all places, M'sia's Strawberry Park. Heheh.. hopefully whoever wins wouldn't be too disappointed. Muller by the way is one of the most yummylicious yoghourt I've ever tasted. Slurrrppp...

Hmph! There's a fly in the hall. Gah!! One thing which annoys me here are the flies. They're unlike the ones back home; small fruit flies. These are huge a** flies which 'BZZZZ' super loud ok. But of course thank God I don't have to deal with ants, roaches (haven't come across any), mozzies, lizards.. basically your everyday M'sian pests.

Speaking of home, the first thing on my 'to-do' list is get a freaking hair cut!! It has almost been a year.. well, 11 months to be exact. I cannot wait to chop this hay off.
Choppedy-chop-chop...
Note to self: remind Alena to make appointment

Next up on the list is to eat. Hey!! Isn't that like on every other M'sian student's to-do list when they go back for the hols. I remember my mum 'tau pau-ed' nyonya laksa for me the last time I was home. HEheh. 'Twas waiting for me on the table as soon as I entered the house. So sweet la my mum =) Right now, I'm thinking of Champ's Hainanese Chicken Rice. Heavenly!! Ok, my tummy just gurgled. HAhah...

Template

As for the new look, hmm.. how do I say this? Ok ok, my blog changes very often. Yup, so don't be surprise ler if it looks different in a months time. HEheeh. Well, it's either coz I'm bored of it or I'm just bored . This is probably my 8th/9th template. Heheh.. it does kinda give you a glimpse of the sort of person I am. T once told me that I change my hairstyle whenever I go through changes in life, which is so true man. How observant ;) Therefore, since it's suicidal to keep redoing my hair here, I resort to revamping my blog instead. Saves me a whole lot of moolah. Oh, and I know enough HTML to design a blog la, no biggie. Hhaha.. hilarious how that came to be but ;)

F1

Two years ago, the FIA (Federation Internationale de L'Automobile) amended some rules coz people were supposedly losing interest in the sport since Ferrari was leading most of the time. Apparently they were losing their audiences. But bring it on baybeh!! coz the Scarlet cars did not falter, up until this season that is. Even though I'm an avid Ferrari fan (it's just Barrichello actually) I think competition is good. Nowadays, you get to see almost every other team on the podium, which is excellent la especially for those who's been driving for ages and have yet to receive a trophy.
Anyway, I was watching the European Grand Prix last weekend and lo and behold!! News has it that ticket sales and tv viewers have dropped considerably because Ferrari are no longer up front and leading. Gosh!! Make your mind up already!! Irritating!! Note that the grass will never be green if you do not take good care of it, whichever side you're on man!!
I somehow suspect that the tyres may be partly responsible. One cannot help but gawk (ok, me) at the obvious difference between the teams using Michellin tyres and those using Bridgestone. All you have to do is take a look at the Constructors Championship dude!!
Hmm..
HMmmmm ??!!?!?!
