I had a wonderful christmas party with my cell members, plus a few new people last night. It wasn't quite as celebrative as the year before though. Probably because I didn't know the majority of them well enough. Nevertheless, am thankful to have Chris and *preciousCacing there - two of the most loved people in my life. The pressies I received however, more than made up for the rather quiet evening (hence the 'wonderful-ness'). Not because they were expensive, luxurious or something I've been longing for but 'twas the element of SURPRISE! that brought joy into my heart. I must say, it has been a while since I felt this way (long time no surprise, damn sad right?) - can't quite put a finger on it though. Erm.. for example, you and your friend were sorta discussing about a book, like eons ago (ok, maybe 3 weeks =P), which you then totally and absolutely forget about, only to find out that you've received it as a gift, while in the process of ruthlessly ripping the wrapping paper apart =P Only *preciouses will take the effort to listen and remember every single thing you say, right down to the last detail. Or when you feel/smell your gift and go, "HAR!! OH MY GOSH!! Hahaha.. and I thought you were buying it for her!?!?!" or "Hahahhaa!! Oh my gosh laaa, I seriously thought you got it for yourself loh." - like, r-e-v-e-l-a-t-i-o-n! Heh =P So cool to go Christmas shopping with your mates, ay? ;) In Chris' words, "Can go Hollywood already." Aiyoh Chris, you so lame man. Hehehe.. Boo! Ahhh.. I am truly blessed to have friends like these. Truly, truly blessed. *Happy*Happy*Happy* Christmas sale today and tomorrow and the day after and then more!! Sure go crazy one. *Happier*Happier*Happier* I wish you a Blessed Christmas. Hope you'll have a fresh and an exciting year ahead ;) But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 3:13b & 14 Go, go, go!
