Conversation over supper:
Speaking my thoughts, I told Al that if I were to be pregnant, I'd want to keep baby safe in my womb, forever- giving birth meant exposing baby to the evil that is this world, which I am so afraid of.

That is when Al mentioned faith- that our faith in God will be the one thing we hold on to and trust when we bring our children up in this world.

It then occurred me that if anything, my baby would bring me closer to God.
