our adversity brought us together. i had lost a lot of blood. i was riding in an ambulance and there were tubes going in and out of my body. i was on the cell with him. he told me he had other things to take care of but will come see me right after. and then he said, "i love you." i was taken by surprise but somehow inside i understood. that was when i realised that i too loved him. "i love you too." In3caTe jotted @ 6:10 pm

*Alli tagged. Lawyer To say I didn't bring it upon myself would be a lie. However I was friggin' 5 years old and all thanks to the TVB Serial Dramas we (my cousins & I) were watching then. I told my dad, at 5, that I wanted to wear the wig. How was I to know that would seal my fate? Air Stewardess Because I love to travel the world and wanted to do it for free. Too bad a 5'1 can't make the cut. Marine Biologist The dolphins did me in. Sadly, this came to me wee bit too late; studied humanities. Psychologist I naturally observe the human behaviour and always tried to rationalise. I was also told that I am a good listener. Interior Designer I took pains to do up my room. I returned to whatthehellhappenedtomyroom? after my stint in UK. Sads. Architect And since my dad didn't allow me to study interior designing, I thought of the next best thing, which of course Lecturer This profession has the longest and most holidays in a year. 'Nuff said. Writer - Editorial/Creative Discovered my passion for writing while reading law. I guess you could coin it (law) a 'blessing in disguise'. Copywriter/Creative Director Dabbled a little in copywriting, which got me a little curious. After all, I want to learn every aspect of writing there is. Am currently enrolled at 95%. Their trainings are highly entertaining and very interesting. Plus, I've made friends with some of the most broken people I know and they.are.awesome. I seriously love it here and will consider entering the world of advertising. UNICEF Ambassador My aspiration- to bring hope to those who live in a hopeless world (I've known this ever since Cambodia). I'm temporarily working at World Vision to get a feel of how an established NGO is ran. And prayerfully, in March I'll be studying Masters in Human Rights Law at Monash Melbourne. If you thought I had weddings after weddings to attend, you're right. What you don't know however, is that for every wedding I've attended, death follows (not immediately). So far I've witnessed 3 weddings, not taking into account the one I attended in Newc a year ago. Similarly, this month alone, 3 deaths have occurred- 2 of which I know personally and the other is *J's father. My 2nd uncle passed away recently due to mouth cancer, which had spread throughout his lungs. He was diagnosed with stage4 cancer in November last year and the doctors said he wouldn't live past Chinese New Year but he did. In a way, I'm thankful that he was alive for another 5 months. It gave us time to prepare for his passing. Nevertheless, when the day arrived, it was still very painful to watch him go. My cousin was devastated. It then dawned on me that for a daughter to lose a father is ... My cousin turned 25 a week after. *I am the only one (on my father's side of the family) whose parents are still here. Last week, I found out that *C had passed away. She's a friend of mine in Newc. We weren't necessarily close but we were very good friends. She's only a year older than I am. I don't know much because I've only received emails from friends in Newc and chatted with *B over the MSN. What I do know is that she went into a coma after her liver failed and passed away the next day. *C suffered from a terrible rash and the medication prescribed by doctors in Newc didn't help her. She would periodically go back to China to get some Chinese herbal medicine for it (she's been taking this for a while). The herbal meds didn't cure her rash but stopped it from breaking out. Some friends in Newc are doctors and they've been gathering evidence to ascertain the cause of death. What I recently learnt is that these so-called Chinese herbal meds are to blame. You have no idea how pissed off I am with them! Bastards! Just last month ChiaYing and I were talking about how heartless some people in China are. They would do ANYTHING for money, including murder. She told me the World Health Organisation discovered that anti-malarial pills MADE IN CHINA were NOT anti-malarial pills but Paracetamol. One of the symptoms of malaria is fever and Paracetamol helps with the fever. Unbeknownst to the victims however, that is all the 'medicine' does. These drugs are worthless and the number of people who've died consuming fake drugs is insane! And this morning I received a call informing me of the passing of *J's father. J is turning 28 next month. Being numb. In3caTe jotted @ 1:30 pm

If I have to name one person who sparked my interest to accessorize, it would be Sze Yoong, my childhood buddy. Ever since she left for Perth to pursue her studies, she acquired a taste for earrings, in the art of jewellery making. She not only came back with a degree but an income generating skill to boot! Because we're such good friends, she offered me to model them for her. Needless to say, I was hooked, in every sense of the word. Bought these eons ago. The last pair is still one of my favourite pieces. Classic pearl drop with crystal earrings. Over the years, she's learned to enhance her skill to include necklaces, bracelets, rings, key rings and everything under the accessory sun. In fact, she's gotten so good at it that she decided to set up her own business! Yup, that'd be my friend; an entrepreneur and a proud owner of an online company, aptly named Sze Accessories. be dazzled... Some of my recent purchases: Tyrion Drops, Darling Darjeeling, Mrs. Pot's Embroidery and Green Crystal Glass Beads Earrings Pics courtesy of Sze Accessories. Watch out coz this feisty young lady is not a force to be reckoned with. She has more tricks under those fingers of hers. Just you wait! In3caTe jotted @ 3:07 pm
